The school Getsemani is the first Christian school of Puerto Cabezas. The building was an open porch only enough for students from first to third grade. Years later, a building with 4 new classrooms was build with the help of Latin America Child Care and now it has 9 classrooms.

The impact of the school in the lives of its students, is reflected even outside the classrooms. Many of the kids who attended the school are current teachers at  the Getsemani school and universities around the country.
The school has won the 2nd place finish in the Math Olympics of its region and a a recognition in sports.

It is located in the center of the city wich provides a safe environment for the students and their parents.

The vision of the leadership is to continue giving away as many scholarships as possible to its students.So more childrens can be reach for Christ through the love and Christian education they receive here!
