Ríos de Agua Viva is
located in the colonial city of Granada – a beautiful city which is
known for its culture and tourism. However,
in the midst of this charming city is a poor community struggling to
make it day to day like many in Nicaragua.
In 1994 the church
decided to start a school not only to teach math, language, etc. at the
highest standards, but to also teach about Christ!
This school has been through struggles, but the leadership holds
on to the truth that this school has a divine purpose!
Though the community is poor, they all assist with maintaining
the school.
With limited
finances, the school is still housed in the small Sunday school
classrooms and if they were to enroll more students, they would have no
place to put them! Pastor
Mendoza’s vision is to build a school building to increase the
effectiveness and breadth of the ministry of Ríos de Agua Viva.
